Meet Anna
Anna is a certified NYC based Yoga instructor with 14 years experience. She teaches yoga in many different settings: studio classes, private classes, outdoors, corporate/office yoga, in public schools for kids of varied ages. She has hosted retreats in and out of the city. Anna teaches a breath centered class with strong focus on self compassion and mindfulness as a way to reconnect to oneself and open a healthy dialogue between body and mind that brings mental clarity and ultimately can lead to greater self knowledge. She believes the practice strengthens many tools that comes in handy when we step off the mat and into our every-day lives where it can help us self-regulate, balance our energy levels and support us in the life long quest to deal with stress full situations without getting reactive, but instead staying responsive and open hearted. The practice has infinite possibilities of being personal; there is a practice for everyone.

Anna was born in Sweden and has a background in acting. She holds a Masters in fine arts from “The Stockholm University of Drama and Acting”. She studied yoga at YTTP under the tutelage of Sam Chase in 2009.
